How wonderful that even after all these years and successes, the creator of such shows as Primeval, The Lost World, My Week with Marilyn and Rome, to name but a few, should still harbour dreams.
But that is precisely what has happened to Adrian Hodges, of Charney Bassett near Wantage, whose latest project is the BBC’s new multi-million pound drama, The Musketeers.
“For me it is the fruition of a lifelong dream,” he says.
Good to know, isn’t it, that success by itself is a paltry reward?
Unless that success of course can be converted into aspiration, energy and a hunger to create.
