A church memorial service will take place next Saturday to remember teenager Jayden Parkinson.

The 17-year-old went missing last month before her body was unearthed two weeks later in a grave at All Saints’ Church in Lydalls Road. A service, open to the public, will now take place at the church from 4pm on Saturday, January 25.

Meanwhile, police have said results from toxicology tests to determine how the teen died are likely to come in about four weeks. Her boyfriend, Ben Blakeley, 22, of Christchurch Road, Reading, is charged with her murder and perverting the course of justice.

A 17-year-old boy is also accused of perverting the course of justice.

Both have been remanded in custody.
