The Chipping Norton town council will raise its share of the council tax bill by almost £60,000.
Council members approved an increase in the amount the town council’s population would pay a year from £137,197 in 2013-2014 to £191,877 for 2014-15.
This will mean a rise of £22 for the average person – in the Band D tax band – and will help fund projects such as the £400,000 renovation of the town hall.
