A housing assocation was praised by some of its older residents hit by the floods yesterday.
Janet Mills, 67, of Osney Court in West Oxford, said housing association the Home Group had “bent over backwards” by collecting their rubbish, doing their shopping and even feeding the electricity meters.
She said: “They have visited us at least twice a day. They have been over and above board. They have been fantastic.”
