A man who died after his mobility scooter fell into the River Thames had last night still not yet been officially named by police.
The 47-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene in Osney, Oxford, at about 6.15pm on Saturday.
An inquest into his death is expected to be opened and formally adjourned at Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court in the next few days.
Floral tributes have been left at the scene where the man went into the river. He was pulled from the water, but died at the scene.
