WHILE cleaners get the dusters out for its annual big clean, visitors can still enjoy the splendour of Blenheim Palace’s grounds.

The Woodstock stately home closed on December 13 and will reopen on February 15.

Until then the 2,000-acre gardens are still open at the palace, home to the 11th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill.

Marketing assistant Jonathan Prince said: “It’s a brilliant place to work. There are not many places where you can come and enjoy a view like this for your day job.

“I am spoilt to have that view all year round. It is also home to amazing widlife, like geese, swans and wild deer.”

Park entry costs £4.
