15,000 in grotto

First published in News

SANTA was visited by a record number of 15,000 children at his grotto in Millets Farm in Frilford this Christmas.

Children saw Father Christmas’ elves at work and listened to Santa’s story time with Mrs Claus.

Parents watched on enjoying the festivities, and ate their way through more than 4,000 mince pies.

Surely 'santa' is a mythical character, and as such this is little short of fraud and deception? Commercialism seems to have taken over the religious celebration of Christ's birthday - though there are now many question the authenticity of that event, and think it more likely to have been a combination of religions and beliefs, probably devised by the Romans. Is nothing sacred anymore?
