CHARLOTTE Nott is over the moon. She is now able to ride a trike – something she has wanted to do for years.
Her story is one that has touched thousands of people.
When meningitis struck, she lost the lower part of her arms and legs.
It was, obviously, unbearably moving.
But the young girl has done the best thing possible – the most difficult thing possible – which is to get on with her life.
Her cheeky smile and happy-go-lucky attitude set an example the rest of us would do well to follow.
