A court bid to retrieve more than £16,500 stolen by a cafe worker from a county museum has been adjourned.
Helen Seacole, of Woodstock Road, Witney yesterday attended the confiscation hearing at Oxford Crown Court.
In August this year, the 52-year-old admitted theft of £16,596 from Woodstock’s Oxfordshire Museum, Park Street, while running its cafe and shop.
She was sentenced to eight months in prison, suspended for 18 months, and ordered to pay £16,596 compensation and £475 costs.
The hearing will be held on January 16.
