ERICA SIMMS continued to hope for one thing yesterday – for “my baby, my princess” to walk in through her front door.

As police continued to search areas of Upton and Didcot in what became over the weekend a murder inquiry, Jayden Parkinson’s mother appealed for help to find the 17-year-old.

Jayden has not been seen since Tuesday, December 3, when she caught a train from Oxford – where she was living – to Didcot, where her mother’s home is.

Detectives are appealing for information about a man seen struggling with a suitcase in Upton in the early hours of Monday, December 9.

Jayden’s family have been described as “distraught but hopeful” and Ms Simms – who also uses the name Samantha Shrewsbury – wrote on her Facebook page: “Tinymigriney My Baby My Princess xxx.

“My heart is so heavy baby girl I just want to see you walk through my door with a ‘Tad Dar’.

“I need you little lady my heart feels so empty without you u know ur My Tinymigriney xxxxxxx.”

Her posting was made just hours before police charged Ben Blakeley, 22, of Christchurch Road in Reading, with murdering Jayden. He will appear in court this morning.

She continues to post stories about the search for Jayden and has made the Missing People’s poster her profile picture in the hope someone, somewhere has the crucial piece of information to help locate her daughter.

Jayden’s father Paul Parkinson posted a picture of his daughter as a child on Facebook.

He said: “This is my baby if anyone knows were she is please tell her to contact her mum or me or police we want you home for Xmas baby.”
