A signed helmet worn by F1 racing driver Sebastian Vettel sold at Bonham’s auction house in Shipton-on-Cherwell yesterday for a record price of £72,100.
Another helmet worn by James Hunt during the 1976 World Championships sold for £37,500, up from the estimated £18,000. The car and automobillia auction made a total of £1.8m.
