An Oxford Fertility Unit director is in the delegation of ministers and business figures that arrived in China yesterday.
Enda McVeigh joined the visit, headed by Prime Minister and Witney MP David Cameron, aims to forge relationships and improve economic links with China.
Oxford Fertility Unit, based at Alec Issigonis Way, Cowley, and the University of Oxford partnered with universities in China in 2010 to develop research and teaching programmes and the unit has been invited to share its experience of that set-up.
Tim Child, another director of the unit, said: “We are delighted to be invited to join the Prime Minister on the trade delegation.
“We have enjoyed a successful relationship with China for a number of years and understand the best ways to do business there.”
