BILLIONAIRE businessman David Reuben has officially opened a new business centre at Oxford Spires Academy.
The £8.2m Reuben Business and Science Faculty Building, opened on Monday, contains 10 new science labs, ICT suites, a sixth-form centre and lecture theatre that can hold up to 330 people.
It has taken three years to construct and the building, at the academy in Glanville Road, was opened to students, with lessons starting for the first time.
An undisclosed amount of funding came from the Reuben Foundation, set up by the Reuben Brothers to help good causes.
Mr Reuben said: “I have no doubt that the new facilities will enhance students’ learning experience, particularly in business studies, economics, work skills, computing and information technology.”
