THE next stage in a blueprint of where future development such as housing estates will go in the Vale of White Horse has been delayed until next year.
Vale of White Horse District Council wanted to produce the next draft of its local plan by the end of the year but said it will now be released in 2014, though it did not say when.
It said this is because new Government rules state work on how many houses will be needed by 2029 – currently more than 13,000 are planned – must tie in with an economic strategy being produced by Oxford Local Enterprise Partnership.
