PART of Banbury is to be blitzed as Cherwell District Council’s green team move in for a week to clear litter, fly-tipping, graffiti and dog mess.
The big clean-up starts in Grimsbury on Monday, October 28. Residents will have compost and recycling giveaways, on October 31, in Burchester Place car park from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.
There will also be free bulky waste collections and a discounted bin sale.
During this year the council carried out four similar clean-ups and removed a total of 68.2 tonnes of rubbish.
