Grandparents welcomed to see how new pupils are settling at school
9:30am Saturday 5th October 2013 in News
IT was back to school for grandparents of the youngest pupils at Cutteslowe Primary School, Oxford, yesterday.
They got to see how their grandchildren were settling in as part of the school’s grandparents’ day. Among them was Corinna Redman, who spent the morning playing number games, reading books and making arts and crafts with four-year-old grand-daughter Emily Hill.
The 72-year-old from Southmoor Road, North Oxford, said: “It was very nice to see the other children in the class because I had heard Emily talk about them but I didn’t know who they were.”
