ENGINES revved up and roared across the track as the national motocross finals took place in Oxfordshire.
Around 300 riders took part in the Red Bull Pro National Motocross Finals at Culham Park, between Abingdon and Clifton Hampden.
Among them was Didcot’s Seb Osbourne, 22, who finished second overall on Saturday riding a Yamaha 250 two stroke bike, and first overall on Sunday riding his Yamaha 125 two stroke motorcycle.
The groundworker said: “It felt really good. On Saturday, I was really happy with my place. Obviously on Sunday I did a bit better and was very happy with first place. It was my home track as well, which makes it even better.”
Riders from as young as seven took part in the two-day competition. Categories were split into age and bike size groups and about 40 riders took part in each race.
