10:17am Sunday 15th September 2013 in News
FIVE people have been taken to hospital, one with serious injuries, after a car overturned on a slip-road off the M40.
Paramedics were called to the exit slip-road at junction 8a for Oxford at around 8.30am today after the car left the road and ended up on the embankment.
Five ambulances were sent to the scene and five people were taken to the John Radcliffe hospital, one of whom was unconscious and had serious injuries.
The other four people were said to have non-serious injuries. Ambulance crews were unable to confirm details of age and gender of the patients.
One lane of the slip road was blocked by emergency vehicles, causing light traffic.
