ARTISTS from all over the world will come to Oxford for the first ever International Art Fair next year.

The fair will be held at Oxford Town Hall in St Aldates from February 7 to 9.

More than 150 artists will show their work at the fair, which will feature local artists as well as those from further afield.

Art fair organiser Joelle Dinnage said: “It’s the first time Oxford has ever held such an art fair and it hasn’t ever had anything like this before.

“I am so proud that Oxford will host such a fair. There is so much culture in Oxford and there are many art collectors. . . it will be a real boost for tourism as people will come and see all this emerging art from all over the world.”

Ms Dinnage, 28, of Marley Close, Oxford, is organising the event with Natal Vallve from the Global Art Agency.

North Hinskey artist Hamish Spender, 29, said: “I would be really interested in exhibiting my work at the exhibition.”
