A husband-and-wife team is celebrating a landmark anniversary for their West Oxfordshire charity branch this weekend.
Graham and Pauline Evans of Lipscombe Place, Carterton, set up the Carterton, Witney & District branch of Save the Children in 1973. Over the years, it has raised more than £1.2m.
The branch will hold a 40th anniversary party today at the Elderbank Hall, in Brize Norton, at 3pm.
