On community's side

First published in News

A NEW organisation has been set up to “build” the community in part of Witney.

Duncan Enright, a West Oxfordshire district councillor for Witney East ward, held a public meeting on Thursday at Cogges Church Centre to discuss creating the group.

The Cogges & Newland Community was formed with agreement from 20 residents and hopes to represent local people.

Its first activity will be a litter pick on Saturday, September 14, at 10am, starting at Cogges Manor Farm Museum's car park.

Anyone living in Cogges or Newland is very welcome to become involved in any or all of the activities. Please leave a post here with suggestions as to what our priorities might be.
