A NUMBER of homes are without power this morning because of a fault at a sub-station.
Southern Electric said it had received several calls from people in Lewis Close and Kiln Lane, Risinghurst.
A spokeswoman said she didn't have a number of properties affected but said it was "less than 50".
She added: "We are currently on the scene working to resolve the issue. We believe it is due to a fault at the sub-station in Risinghurst.
"We expect that power will be restored in a couple of hours."
