CHILDREN are learning dance and movement at holiday workshops at The Theatre in Chipping Norton.
During the summer holidays, the theatre is organising a series of workshops from dance and drama to musical theatre for children.
On Monday, youngsters aged 13 and over learnt jazz, hip hop, ballet and jive dance moves from professional choreographer Sarah Stead, from the Expression School of Ballet and Theatre Arts.
She said: “The workshops have gone really well. Everybody has been really engaged.”
The classes will run every day until tomorrow, and will climax in a show on the theatre stage.
Other dance, drama and musical theatre classes, which last year attracted 335 young people, will run throughout August.
