AN inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of a teenager living in a Headington health assessment unit for adults with learning disabilities and mental health problems.
Connor Sparrowhawk, 18, of Wharton Road, Headington, died at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford last week.
He was living at the short-term assessment and treatment unit at Slade House, Horspath Driftway.
Ambulance staff were called to the unit and Mr Sparrowhawk was found unconscious in a bath.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “His death is being treated as unexplained but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.”
The funeral will take place at Wolvercote Cemetery in Oxford on Tuesday at 2.45pm.
