  • Donald Smith, 73, of Coromandel, Abingdon, admitted drink driving on June 1 in Edward Street, Abingdon. Had 43 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 12-month driving ban and fined £150. Told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Joshua Smith, 18, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted stealing a motor vehicle in Holloway Road, Wheatley, between May 15 and May 16. Also admitted going equipped for theft in London Road, Wheatley, between the same dates. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.   • Rhian Parker, 54, of Upthorpe Drive, Wantage, admitted drink driving on June 3 in Drayton Road, Drayton, near Abingdon. Had 69 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 46-month driving ban and fined £250. Told to pay a £25 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Craig Young, 26, of Balfour Road, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, on June 3 in Abingdon. Fined £50 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Carol Crosby, of Islip Road, Kidlington, near Oxford, admitted failing to provide information as to the identity of a driver who is alleged to have committed an offence on February 20 in Oxfordshire. Fined £40 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.
  • Niru Hussain, 50, of Timothy Way, Oxford, admitted driving without a licence and driving without insurance in Cowley Road, Oxford on January 24. Fined £250 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £150 costs. Given six points on driving licence.
  • Ian MacKenzie, 44, of St Johns Road, Abingdon, convicted of failing to provide information as to the identity of a driver alleged to have committed an offence on February 20 in Oxfordshire. Fined £70 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £60 costs.
  • Paul Duley, 49, of Steventon Road, Drayton, near Abingdon, convicted of speeding on the A40 near Swinbrook on July 11 at a speed exceeding 40mph, namely 52mph. Also admitted speeding in the same location on July 12, at a speed exceeding 40mph, namely 50mph. Fined £270 and told to pay £130 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Given six points on driving licence.
  • Humza Ilyas, 29, of London Road, Headington, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Leopold Street, Oxford, on March 18. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims' surcharge.
  • Edward Parker, 32, of Queen's Road, Carterton, admitted driving while disqualified and driving without insurance in Butlers Drive, Carterton, on June 16. Also admitted stealing clothing, a bag and documentation from a car in Bernwood Forest, Oxford Road, Oakley, Buckinghamshire, on the same date. Admitted making off without payment from a petrol station in Baynards Green, near Bicester, without paying for £74.68 of petrol and driving while disqualified on June 7. Given a six-month prison sentence.
  • Musa Rashid, 49, of Old Marston Road, Marston, Oxford, admitted drink driving in Between Towns Road, Oxford, on April 2. Had 62 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 16-month driving ban and fined £3,000. Told to pay a £30 victims' surcharge and £300 costs.
  • Elaine Brown, 43, of St Martin's Road, Oxford, convicted of failing to comply with a red traffic light signal at Milton Interchange, near Didcot, on January 24. Fined £125 and told to pay £20 victims' surcharge and £200 costs. Given three points on driving licence.
  • Hayley Cox, 31, of Brome Place, Barton, Oxford, admitted stealing CDs and DVDs worth £50 from Asda in Oxford and make up items worth £69.40 from Superdrug in Oxford on May 28. Also admitted stealing cosmetics worth £433.25 from Boots in Oxford on May 31. Given a 12-week prison sentence.
  • Timothy Joyce, 25, of Redbridge Hollow, Old Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Westbury Crescent, Oxford, by brandishing a hammer on April 9. Given 12-week prison sentence.

  • Edwin Thomas, 52, of Windmill Road, Headington, convicted of driving without a licence and driving without insurance in Windmill Road, Headington, Oxford, on October 31. Fined £800 and told to pay a £60 victims' surcharge and £650 costs. Given six points on licence.
  • Joanne Elliot, 43, Victoria Road, Abingdon, admitted breaching a restraining order by harassment in Beverley Close, Abingdon, on June 17 and June 18. Fined £140 and told to pay a £20 victims' surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Dale Manuell, 23, of Birch Road, Garsington, Oxford, convicted of assault by beating on September 15 in Oxford. Also admitted possessing cocaine, a Class A drug, in Oxford on September 16. Community order made with a three-month curfew requirement. Told to pay £150 compensation, a £60 victims' surcharge and £450 costs.
  • James Marmon, 20, of Kysbie Close, Abingdon, admitted possessing heroin and crack cocaine, both Class A drugs, in Abingdon on May 11. Community order made with a drug rehabilitation requirement and a 12-month supervision requirement. Told to pay a £60 victims' surcharge.
  • Richard Walton, 35, of Brampton Close, Abingdon, admitted assault by beating in Abingdon on May 26. Given a three-month prison sentence suspended for 24 months with a 24-month supervision requirement. Told to pay an £80 victims' surcharge and £85 costs.
