A 27-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed in the shoulder during an argument in Headington earlier today.
Police believe a knife was used in the attack at about 1am at the junction of London Road and Gladstone Road.
The victim was treated at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital after suffering a single stab wound.
Police said the injury was not thought to be life-threatening and described the attacker as a black man.
And Det Insp Steve Raffield, of Force CID in Oxford, appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
He said: “We are trying to establish what happened in this incident, so would like to speak to anyone who was in the Barton Road, Gladstone Road and London Road area of Headington, around the time of the incident.
“I would also like to speak to anyone who may know the identity of the offender or who has information which could help this inquiry.”
