TURNOUT in Thursday’s elections dropped to a low of 31.87 per cent across the county, the lowest in more than a decade.
In some divisions, turnout dipped as low as 22 per cent. In 2009, when the elections were held on the same day as a poll for Euro MPs, the turnout was 38 per cent.
