PRINT artist Paul Nash is leading two printing workshops using the Bodleian Library’s antique printing presses next month.

Participants can handprint their favourite poems using metal printing types or print it as a small broadsheet, with a linocut image at the Story Museum in Pembroke Street.

Dr Nash, 50, who works as a librarian at Oxford’s Bodleian Library, said: “The techniques are those used for printing between 1450 and 1830. This is using these techniques in a traditional way and they are used completely without electricity.”

The first session is on Sunday, May 5 from 2pm to 5pm and the second on Sunday, May 12 from 2pm to 5pm. Both sessions cost a total of £60.
