Shooting starts in Dorchester for new Miss Marple

ANYONE passing through Dorchester this week could be forgiven for doing a double-take.

The village has been transformed into the set of ITV’s Miss Marple series.

Filming is currently taking place for the episode of Agatha Christie’s Marple called Endless Night, which will be broadcast later this year.

Locations manager Chris White said: “We have two days filming on location in Dorchester and the layout of the town worked perfectly for the setting.”

Olivier award-winning actress Julia McKenzie, pictured, plays the famous spinster sleuth.
