A packaging company handed over a cheque for more than £1,000 to a charity after a six-week fundraising effort.
Staff at Chesapeake Branded Packaging, in Lidget Green, Bradford, pulled together to raise the cash in support of Cancer Support Bradford & Airedale.
Staff were involved in events including a Big Brew quiz, guessing the number of sweets in a jar and one brave staff member, Tony Shaw, had his chest and back waxed.
Event organiser Ellen Warburton said: “Our efforts throughout the six weeks has paid off well as we have raised a phenomenal £1,016. We wouldn’t have been able to raise the amount that we did without the amazing sponsorship from local businesses from around the Bradford area and some of our customers and suppliers.”
