MOVIE fanatics from Oxford have beaten hundreds of others to win places on a prestigious course.
Film Oxford students Rosie Whiter, 17, Daisy Oldershaw, 17, and Luke Robson, 19, have been selected to take part in the National Film and Television School’s “talent campus” over the Easter holidays.
The three budding film-makers were selected from a list of more than 300 applicants.
Cherwell School student Rosie, of Headington, said she was excited.
She added: “It’s an amazing opportunity, and I’m so happy to have been picked. I’ve been interested in film for most of my life. I started making animations when I was five.”
The £3m talent campus programme is run by the British Film Institute and delivered by the National Film and Television School.
A total of 54 participants will take part.
