Man faces sentence for breaching ASBO
10:40am Friday 15th March 2013 in News
A man who assaulted a police officer is to be sentenced next month after breaching an ASBO.
Howard Russell, of Langley Road, Abingdon, was given the order in July 2010, which banned him from drinking in public anywhere in Oxfordshire.
But he breached the order repeatedly and now the 58-year-old has admitted assaulting PC Christopher Bennett in Oxford city centre on December 12 last year. He will be sentenced in Oxford Crown Court on April 4.
