Ambulance in vehicle smash
10:30am Friday 15th March 2013 in News
An ambulance and a car were involved in a crash in Adderbury yesterday morning.
The crash took place at 8.30am at the junction of the B4100 and Deene Close as the ambulance was on its way to an emergency.
Both vehicles finished up against a bungalow, which was not damaged.
A woman, who was driving the black BMW and was pregnant, had to be cut from her car and was taken to the Horton General Hospital, but this was only as a precaution.
South Central Ambulance spokesman Gillian Hodgetts said there would be an internal investigation into the crash.
