Car and ambulance crash in Adderbury

AN ambulance on an emergency call and a car crashed in Adderbury this morning.

The crash took place at about 8.30am at the junction of the B4100 and Deene Close.

Both vehicles finished up against a bungalow, but that was not damaged.

A woman, who was driving the black BMW and was pregnant, had to be cut from her car and taken to the Horton General Hospital, but this was only as a precaution.

South Central Ambulance spokesman Gillian Hodgetts said there would be an internal investigation into the crash.
