Update: A34 open again after crash

THE A34 south of Bicester has now been reopened following the crash which closed both carriageways.
The collision involving a car and a van happened at about 7.30am on the southbound carriageway, between junction nine of the M40 and the B430 at Weston-on-the-Green.
The car, a Porsche, came off the road and went into a ditch, and the driver was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for treatment to head injuries.
A second patient was treated at the scene.
The accident caused major delays but both carriageways were open again shortly before noon.
