Jury sent out in sex crime trial

The jury was sent out at Oxford Crown Court yesterday in the case of a teacher who is accused of a string of sexual assaults on a teenager.
Geoffrey Langer, of Farley Lane, Stonesfield, denies committing the offences in the early 1980s while he was working as a science teacher at the Marlborough School, Woodstock.
The 64-year-old is alleged to have indecently assaulted the male victim who is now in his 40s. Langer denies three counts of indecent assault of a male under the age of 16, and a serious sexual offence with a person under the age of 16.
