Bid to tackle illegal tobacco

Crimestoppers is today launching a new campaign to tackle the issue of illegal tobacco.

In partnership with Oxfordshire Trading Standards, the charity is raising awareness of the effect illegal tobacco has on communities.

The campaign asks the public to pass it information on who or where illegal rolling tobacco and cigarettes are being sold.

Not the function of a charity to "raise awareness" of the fact that a packet of carp fags in England takes more of the minimum wage than in any other country. Yes let's have a bit of serious "awareness" of that.
