Ana Barbour, aided by Naomi Morris doing the shadow play, was at East Oxford’s Pegasus Theatre as part of Dancin’ Oxford, the city’s annual festival of dance.

She had choreographed a piece of physical theatre called Inertia.

The 46-year-old, who lives near Chipping Norton, said: “It was about what motivates people to get up in the morning and do what they do.

“I took the principle of inertia which says that objects will remain still until some outside force acts upon them.”
