A TREASURE trove of prizes is up for grabs at a city charity shop.
The Cancer Research UK shop in London Road, Headington, planned to run a pirate-themed promotion from Thursday until today.
But the shop got so many donated prizes the treasure hunt will carry on next week.
Shop manager Jerry Pendleton said: “We went to the supermarkets and rounded up some really good donations for prizes.”
The shop is offering customers the opportunity to stick flags in a sandpit to find buried treasure.
Three flags cost £1 and money raised goes to Cancer Research.
