More cash for youth projects

Youth projects are to get a further £25,100 from Oxfordshire County Council’s £200,000 Chill Out Fund.

Thirteen projects will get a slice of £25,094.52 to be agreed by Louise Chapman, cabinet member for children and the voluntary sector, on Monday, March 11.

Projects include £5,000 for a play area in Old Woodstock, a new music studio in Wolvercote and residential workshops for Wantage Youth Brass.

The council has given out £165,493.61 from the fund so far.
