A taxi driver arrested over a collision in which a 20-year-old woman was injured has been suspended by Cherwell District Council.
The pedestrian was struck outside the Odeon cinema in Horsefair at about 1.50am on Sunday and taken to the Horton Hospital with minor injuries.
A taxi driver arrested on suspicion of careless driving has had his licence suspended pending the outcome of a police inquiry.
