Driver hurt after crash off A40 near Wheatley

A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after a car crashed off the A40 tonight.
The crash took place at about 6.20pm on the southbound carriageway just before the turn off for Wheatley.
One person was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital but is not believed to be seriously injured.
Firefighters were also called to the scene and there were reports that the car had left the carriageway.
Long tailbacks have been reported and traffic was experiencing delays of up to 15 minutes.
