Assault appeal conviction rejected

A 64-year-old man convicted of common assault has lost an appeal at Oxford Crown Court.
Snowy Snow, of Long Bridges Towpath, Oxford, was convicted after a trial on February 24 last year of slapping victim Joe Phillips in the face.
Yesterday, Snow was given a conditional discharge and told to pay £100 costs.
