More roadworks ahead on Botley Road

More roadworks are planned for Botley Road.
Work to replace the traffic signals at the junction of West Way and Westminster Way in Botley is due to begin on Monday.
The project is expected to last around four weeks and involves installing new signal controllers, underground cables and lighting units.
Oxfordshire County Council says to minimise disruption most work will be carried out with existing signals still in operation.
At other times, temporary lights will be in use.
Oxfordshire County Council’s cabinet member for transport Rodney Rose said: “Inevitably the work will cause some inconvenience at times for road users, but every effort will be made to minimise disruption.”
