Cyclist injured in bus collision

A elderly cyclist was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, after he was in collision with a bus at about 9am yesterday.

It happened at Oxford Road, near St Thomas More School. Police said the man was in his 80s and was in a serious but stable condition. The road reopened at 11am.

I hope the gentleman concerned recovers, but I would never contemplate driving let alone cycling at my age, my reactions and concentration are just not good enough anymore.
