Traffic delays after accident on A40 this morning

A SINGLE vehicle accident on the A40 caused traffic delays this morning.

One lane was closed after a car struck the central reservation on the London Road eastbound between the Thornhill Park and Ride and the B4027.

All lanes have now been re-opened, recovery work has been completed and the accident has been cleared.

I think it was further up the A40, also where peope have to cross the A40 for the Forest Hill bus stops......
