WITNEY Angels climbed to second in Women’s National Conference South East West 2 after edging out Trojans 2nd 5-0 at Hailey Road.
Angels stepped up to the mark in horrendous conditions, with lock Jessica Patterson powering over for their only try.
Openside flanker Jennifer Nicolson impressed in defence as Witney held on well, while Helen Francis threatened a further try with a 40-metre dash.
