THERE will be plenty of swashbuckling entertainment in Witney this week and next as the town’s dramatic society stages Treasure Island.
The show promises to transport audiences from chilly West Oxfordshire to the balmy tropics.
The pantomime-style production is based on the classic story by Robert Louis Stevenson.
Director Ginny Bushell said: “There’s something for everyone, with sword fights, treasure and a love story too.”
Performances take place at the High Street Methodist Church at 7.30pm on Friday and Saturday this week and from Thursday to Saturday next week, with matinees on both Saturdays at 2.30pm.
