A 50-year-old man was injured in a crash near the West Oxfordshire village of Chadlington this morning.
The incident involving two vehicles happened on the A361 between Cross’s Lane and Chipping Norton at about 7.05am.
The man was taken by air ambulance to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon after suffering back injuries.
Firefighters cut him out of his car but his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
A 20-year-old woman in one of the cars escaped injury and did not need any treatment.
Fire crews from Chipping Norton and Banbury attended with ambulance staff.
South Central Ambulance spokesman Gill Hodgetts said: "The man suffered back injuries but his injuries were not life-threatening."
