Stopping traffic

Traffic on Botley Road ground to a halt during rush hour yesterday when a truck tried to unload a skip in Hythe Bridge Street.

Police called at 9am said the driver parked on the busy street because he could not reverse into a property. They moved the vehicle on and traffic was moving normally by 9.30am.

It grinds to a halt everyday during rush hour. But these skip lorry drivers think they have the right to block roads whenever they feel like it, and sod the rest of you. Say anything and all you get is "I gotta unload le skip enn I"
